Happy New Year! It’s that time of year. Time to re-group and start things rolling for this year and plan for the next. The NSRMAA board has been planning. The Board’s biggest and most challenging issues for several years have been attendance at meetings and defining the role of the Association. Because of poor attendance at meetings we have not been able to change our by-laws to give us more flexibility in how we operate and do not give us a lot of options in choosing representatives for the State Chiefs Association and Fire Department Association. The current by-laws require a 2/3 majority of the membership to vote, in attendance at the meeting. Read more: Message...
